PERMISA! Today I’ll show you a behind-the-scene of the stuff I use for display, selling, and organization of merch when participating in events. Most of these items have been with me for years and can be easily found online or at your local office store. They might be helpful for your routine, perhaps these can be useful temporarily, though, I can assure you that at the end of the day, an upgrade will be needed.
Storage Standard – Pegboard Display Stand
I found it on Amazon as “unavailable” to order and decided to research the original company. After a few searches, I was able to find them and ordered a pegboard display stand. This product is great for craft shows, durable, resistant, and sturdy.
Office Depot – Mini Folder Accordion
Some people use plastic bags or boxes to organize their stickers, I use these mini PVC folders to store mine. It is compact, with 13 pockets, transparent, and a simple cord to close the accordion safely. If you have fewer designs, with less than 4″ then these can be useful for you. The only downside when using accordion folders is that your items can be bent accidentally if they are not positioned correctly inside the folder.
You can read my post about RewyndPrinting about my order. The dry-eraser PVC board was fun to design and has helped me price my items and redirect fans and clients to my page support. The 6ft table runner has been a great display accessory to help people identify my table quickly with my brand.
Amazon Basics Expanding Organizer File Folder Letter Size
This sturdy, waterproof, and tear-resistant folder has been my favorite for years. It has 13 pockets that can be able to organize 260 sheets (regular paper), comes with a cord closure for security, and pockets expand to 7/8 inches.
Moo – Business Cards
You can read my full review about Moo’s mini business cards, their reward program, and the seamless design platform when customizing your cards. They offer a variety of materials and unique products, with flexible customization for high-quality products.
Amazon – Basic Storage Wire Cubes
These are the most common among artists alley, they come in a variety of colors, quantities, and styles. They can also be customized to add more personality or flexibility depending on your needs. With time, the little plastics can break, and the paint in the wires can crack.
Square Reader Gadgets
A simple and compact way to accept contactless cards, Apple Pay, and chip cards on the go. When I started to participate at USA cons, I was advised to invest in these devices for seamless payments. It became one of the best products I bought, saving me from using the incorrect payment apps (I believe it does work in P.R., but we have some banking wireless apps that probably don’t work in the USA).
We Are Memories Keeper – Photo Sleeve Protector
Some people have their stickers displayed in mini boxes in small portions, so people can view and touch them, I like my shit locked up and “secure” for control and accessibility. What better way to display them? By using photo album sleeve protectors in my tip post. They come in different sizes and quantities.
Home Depot – Lifetime 6 ft. Fold-in-Half Table
I bought one in my local store for $60, in P.R. a few events used to provide the table with the chairs, but now most of them require us to bring our stuff. The pros of having your own table rate the following:
Have your own table with a specific size
Customize it at your convince
If the event provides a table, you can have double tables in the event (if accepted).
Iris USA Inc – Project Case Letter (Small)
I found this peculiar plastic box at Michael’s or Hobby Lobby with a 50% off, probably in 2018 in TX when I was going to participate in Kamehacon. I still use it to store the main products for the display, while I store all the merchandise in separate boxes. This box helps me set up the table easily with the important products as samples.
