Merch Review: RewyndPrinting

Ok, I stumbled upon this business when the Artist Alley Network International group still existed on FB. Someone mentioned them and I decide to take a look, and surprisingly I purchased a few items from them without hesitation.

I’m in love with my small signboard.

RewyndPrinting is a small business run by Robyn in Virginia that specializes in printing services such as handmade custom signs, table runners, tablecloths, and banners for an affordable price for artists. They can be fully printed in full color, ordered in various sizes, and choose different types of materials. These are great for events and conventions too. She does not provide art or digital design, though.

Crispy, vibrant colors, and high-quality resolution for an 8×10 in a vinyl material.

Dry-Erase PVC Board

I decided to invest in a custom Dry Eraser Sign Board and a Table Runner since I need to save time and saliva when working with the public. Sometimes it is hard to keep repeating the same information over and over, lend your phone when clients don’t understand your site’s name, keep getting the same questions, have many pages for different brands, or memorize the prices of the categories, especially when you have a friend or assistant helping out. Over the years I developed certain traits in my brand(s) to keep things consistent, simple, recognizable, and memorable.

  • I used enough space between elements, so they can breathe.
  • I made short paragraphs or instructions for size-bite important information.
  • And created identifiable art pieces for better recognition (logo and profile pic).
  • I designed the board in a way that can attract attention by using contrasting colors, organic strokes, and big shapes.
Nice shinny coating.
PVC Board with a 3.2 mm thickness.

Warnings!

UPDATE: If you use a washable marker and forget to clean the signboard, especially for a long period of time, it will be stained. If you clean it with a hint of chemical (ex. acetone) or use the dry marker eraser (hard enough), the surface will be scratched and the ink (image design) will be erased. I’m thinking of adding a clear vinyl on top of the signboard, as a coating or cover, to draw over it with the markers without damaging the signboard directly. Do not use a permanent marker to write or acetone to erase the strokes, is going to dissolve the coating, damage the vinyl and erase the inks.

6ft Long Table Runner

I also decided on a table runner for better detection (recognition) when people look for my table or easy identification (memorable) brand. I was surprised by how smooth the clothing was and how accurately the colors came off.

Other Specs By The Store

  • Printed in full color.
  • Dye sublimated.
  • Sewn hemmed edges.
  • 8oz polyester fabric (wrinkle resistance I can confirm).
  • Scratch-resistant and waterproof.

Cost & Shipping

Shipping cost was ok, with a fast turn-around (template confirmation), and the prices were much more affordable than local printing services.

Quality

The quality of the PVC board was outstanding, and the table runner was silky smooth. Both items had high-quality images, accurate colors, premium materials, and crispy details.

Quantity

There is no MOQ.

Communication

Robin worked fast in the turn-around emails (template and confirmation of soft proofing) during the high season (December).

Overall 5 ☆ 5

Totally recommend this business if you are having a hard time finding affordable and accessible equipment for your store or event with premium materials and prudent time frame shipment. It is quite hard to buy locally since it cost from double to triple just to make these with limited options. Please don’t forget to read some important information regarding the handling and care you must provide to each product, they are heavily instructed in the store.
