Photo Album Pockets as Sticker Display

Some people have their stickers displayed in mini boxes in small portions accessible to the public, so they can be viewed and touched. Personally, I like my shit locked up and “secure” for control and accessibility. So I decided to try using some photo album pockets called “Photo Sleeve Protector” from We Are Memories Keeper.

I used to display my stickers on the table and categorize them in shape, sizes, and colors when I lacked the accessibility of storage wire cubes. Once I acquired the wire cubes, I decided to experiment with the Photo Sleeve Protector by customizing the background and adding certain products like stickers and keychains.

The plastic is thick and durable, made with an ultra-clear polypropylene film, each pocket is about 4×6 or 4×4. Perfect for any type of paper such as vinyl and photo paper. Some parts of the sheet are foldable thanks to the cutting patterns, though I recommend not folding them for a long period of time. Also, you can see the brand’s info such as website and phone number if you ever decide to buy from them.

I love the brand’s details in silver foil on plastic.
You can see that the holographic film made the keychain’s colors dull against the plastic.

Difficulties

I thought it was a good idea to display my keychains in the photo album sleeve, but with time I realized it became a mistake in conventions and events. The clients could see the keychains, but if the light was pointing at the glossy plastic, people could barely appreciate the details of the keychain or the product at all. The black background barely contrasted the product, and the plastic became wrinkled and damaged over time.

Because the keychain was a product with a thickness, it damaged and wrinkled the film with time.

I think using this can be a good opportunity to determine if you like to have things accessible to the public or display them securely to gain more control. I have seen people buy the big dry eraser or the plastic wire cubes and tape their stickers in flexible formats instead of divisions. It is up to you to decide and have fun during the process. I will stick to this format while it lasts.
